Study Smart, Stress Less

100 Days to Pass 2025

Suitable for Stage 1 and Stage 2 students

For Stage 1 students we provide a framework to structure your studies, as well as plenty of short cuts, hacks and tips to help you get on top of the syllabus, making your tasting and studying much more focused, efficient and results orientated, which will save you time, reduce your stress levels, and ultimately give you a better chance of passing.

For Stage 2 students it’s a chance to turbo-charge your studies in the run up to the final hurdle. Our took kit of templates, tips and techniques has been built up over the years from students for whom these methods have worked and proved successful in getting them over the line

In recent years the IMW has added a significant amount of distance learning material to the Resources section of their website. As helpful as that is, students now face an additional challenge, as well as getting on top of the breadth of the MW syllabus there is the challenge of managing over 400 hours of recently added distance learning content. To help students with this additional challenge we have taken the opportunity to review the entire catalogue of online resources and content and have included in the How to Pass webinars a new section that advises students on how to prioritise this mountain of recently created data and content, what is worth watching, and what is not!

Whatever stage of the program you are at, and no matter how disrupted your studies have been in the last year, we're confident that our 100 DAYS TO PASS webinars will give you the tool kit you need to maximise the crucial final 100 days in the run up to the exams and help "get you over the line" this year in both the Stage 1 Assessment and Stage 2 exams.

Your sessions on the practical and theory exams were invaluable to my preparation for the S1A. Because of your seminars I finally understood what was expected and HOW to study. I felt I was 100 times more effective and no longer felt like I was spinning my wheels"

Sumi Sarma, MW Student UK

"Tim has amazing pointers and his highlights are helpful in quantifying the vast syllabus of the MW study by looking at what matters the most. He brings out his experience as a student through relatable stories at a micro level. Equally, he also shows a pathway to help build a bigger picture for a potential Master of Wine. A focused roadmap on how to study efficiently! “

Sarah Andrew, MW Student UK

I have progressed more in the last few days that the last few months! “

Bruno Vianna, MW Student Brazil

“These two seminars have been the greatest illuminating events so far in my MW journey”

Gianluca Queiroli, MW Student Italy

“Tim’s classes are full of resources and step-by-step processes A truly practical approach and confidence builder that helped in so many ways! “

Chris Turyk, MW Student Canada

“Thank you for the part you played in my successful progress to Stage 2. Without 100 Days To Pass, I wouldn’t have been as armed and ready for a successful outcome as I was.

Your no-nonsense approach to study planning & exam techniques were key for me"

Steve Greer, MW Student USA

“I am in the first year of the Master of Wine study program and I have felt like I have a very large gap to cover. I have plenty of experience in wine and I have the WSET diploma but it doesn’t matter because it is a sizeable jump! And these first few months have felt overwhelming in seeing the massive scope to study. My main question has been how do I navigate the abyss of information and potential knowledge that is necessary to pass. "Breadth not depth" is one of the many idioms used to describe the necessity to compartmentalise how you study for the Master of Wine exams.

Wine Tutor TV’s seminar by Tim Wildman MW is a great first step in compartmentalising. I feel like I have answers to how to study, what to study and how to prepare for the exam. The rabbit holes have been filled and I can start to prepare with a tighter focus. To be exam ready is everyone’s goal and this was a big help in how to achieve this. “
